MUSEUM OF PEOPLE'S FRIENDSHIP

The 8th festival was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The festival was attended by representatives of more than 40 nationalities of the republic. the Chinese and Dutch diasporas joined the holiday.
On the embankment of the Neman, the fountain of friendship of the peoples of Belarus was opened, the basis of which was a capsule with an appeal to the descendants in the year of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory. A commemorative plaque was opened in the village of Fabrichniy to the leader of the first underground group in Grodno, a native of Chuvashia, Volkov.
