VI All-Belarusian Festival of National Cultures
The VI All-Belarusian Festival of National Cultures was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. This holiday is a symbol of interethnic commonwealth and peace on the Belarusian land, where representatives of various nations have the opportunity to fully reveal the richness of their unique and colorful culture.
In folk costumes, with songs, music and dances, representatives of ethnic diasporas marched along the central streets to Lenin Square. The festival program included 46 events: a concert of art masters "Star Cascade", a photo exhibition "Through the pages of the festival", a holiday of national brass music, a children's holiday, "City of craftsmen", "Humorinka", a holiday of national cuisines. For the first time, within the framework of the closing events, a competition of young performers of the national song was held.
